Did your truck have it to begin with? Did you add it?

"It depends on your wiring harness, some have the wires for the switch, others do not. Also on some trucks it's enabled, on others it is not."

Just curious how you know this? Have you seen people needing to add the wires or enable it with forscan? If so, where have you see this? Because I'm having a hard time finding it.
a guesstimate based on feedback from people on this forum.
For some it was plug and play, for others they had to run wires and no changes to the ABS module, others the wires were there and they just had to update the module, a yet others had to run the wires and update the module. knowledge you pick up from reading this forum for over four years.

The ABS module is also different between the 4x4 and 2wd, at least that's what my parts manual shows.

There is no logic in bragging.

I added it because I was buying some other things and it was a $7 switch. Figured why not for $7. I will probably never use it as I prefer the putting the truck in 4l and manual transmission mode. But for $7 I didn't figure it would hurt anything either.

@jdunk54nl - Would you please post the PN for the switch, and a pic of it installed in your truck? Thank you.

It looks like any 14 fx4 interior with the MFT system.

Do 2009 fx4s have the hill descent control?

nevermind. Looks like it came out in 2013.

Following. I am going to order this switch and see if I can install it. Should be a easy, peasy.

Correct, on the 2013-2014 F150s it's Standard on the FX4 and Raptor Trims, and also included in the optional Off Road package available for the XLT, Lariat and King Ranch Trims.
