Default Adding Hard drive to Infotainment System

I have a 2014 F-150 FX4 with the Navigation radio and I would like to add the hard drive like the 2010 F-150s had. Is this possible to do and what all is involved with this upgrade?

Thanks,

You have Sync2, 2010 had Sync1. They aren't the same. IDK, but I don't think there is a hard drive install path. But, the solution is easy:

Just put your music on a USB drive and plug it in.

Ford called the hard drive on the 2010s "nearly 10GB." So get yourself a 16+ GB USB stick, load it up with tunes, and plug it into the USB port. Select USB as your audio device and you're good to go. You can get a super slim 32GB usb stick on Amazon for under $10.

Here's a thread that shows a second USB port under the center pad on top of the dash, how to access it and use it.

So sorry for your drive and you. I've gone through the same situation. I've heard from my friends that Seagate has problems with their heads but decided to buy one. And our relationship went in the wrong way. I once thought that I had lost all my information. I managed to make a DATA RECOVERY, and then I looked for something different instead. I bought a new Samsung SDD for my laptop, and now I store everything there. It seems to be, for me, a good option. So far, no problems. Tell me what you have done in the end; I'm interested. Also, I hope the thing with the freezer and hammer went ok, LOL.
