here's the question. to lock the truck with the keypad, you just push the last 2 buttons. what if you have a factory alarm? will pushing those same buttons arm the truck or just lock the doors? thinking about adding a ford factory alarm, but don't want to lose the keypad feature that i use frequently. alot of times i throw the keys down in the bottom of the door panel.

 

Adding a factory alarm will not affect the keypad.

 

so when i push the 2 buttons on the keypad and lock the truck, it it armed at that point?
