I've been searching and I haven't found a clear answer. I have a 2013 STX and I came across a beat up tailgate with the complete factory step & pole. Can I, or how can I, remove the step components and install them in my factory tailgate? Also, is the step compatible with the logo rear camera and aftermarket locking solenoid in the handle?

Yes, you can do anything with the proper amount of money, fabrication skill, and time. But, this particular task is better just to swap the the whole gate.
