Default Added some Recon LED's

Went a little crazy I guess

"Line of fire" tailgate bar 60"
"Big Rig Ice" side running lights
3057 24 LED replacement bulbs in tail lights
194 1 LED replacement bulbs in license plate lights

Haven't hooked up the courtesy lights yet... I want to add some footwell strip lights while I'm at it. Next thing is converting the mirror reflectors to running lights and signals.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Stock on bottom, new LED on top.

Can't wait for the spring. Truck will have a Bakflip and some nice 20x9s

They're stock OEM lights with LED bulbs in them.

Did you have to add a resistor? And do you have the exact part numbers if the lights? They look great. Thinking bout doing this.

The lights do the "hyper-flash" so I think I will add resistors. I would just leave it and let it flash fast, but Ford made the blinkers so loud it's getting annoying.

P/N's:

License plate - 264200WH - Recon
Tail light bulbs - HIL3057R - VisonX. I originally bought 7440 bulbs from Recon, but they didn't work so I bought these VisionX bulbs at my local parts store. They're the ones in the pictures. They have 23 LEDs on each bulb. 264207RD from Recon would work as well... but they don't have as many LEDs.

I did have to do some minor trimming of the light sockets (very minor, just trimming them down a little bit) for the bulbs to lock in properly. 2 minutes with a hacksaw and all 4 sockets were done. I can take pics of the mod if anybody wants.

Hooked up the courtesy lights today. While I had the wire strippers out, I converted the useless mirror reflectors into running lights. I figured I have enough signals and I like the look of them as running lights.

I guess I'll have to put some LEDs in the dome lights.... the running board lights put them to shame!
