install not as hard as you would think you have to drill but dont be scared its not through the outside of your fender! it helped that included was a bag of about 200 clips you only need about 5 per flare. so with that your looking at drilling 4-5 holes per flare depending on your prefrence. first i held them up with tape to line the holes that i thought were prexisting in the truck up, turns out there not there! the bit i used was a 1/4 fits exactly through the hole and the clips are made for a 1/4 hole. i will try and get pics of the underside of the flare to show where i made the holes. also the two rear flares get bolted on with 2 bolts per side! which makes it extra secure

so did you only attach the flare with screws on the fender lip? what about the main body of the flare?

looks great.
I want to do this with my STX as well.
if you dont plan on using them, you should throw those flare clips up for sale. if I remember correctly, t=some of the,m are not available seperately, so if someone breaks them off during flare removal, they cant buy new ones from Ford, they would have to buy a whole new flare.

Looks great. I have some factory flares for my truck. The hard part is making time to install them. Maybe I'll get around to it this weekend.

The only potentially negative thing about doing this is that after you drill the holes on the under-side of the fender lip it will rust unless you do a good job re-painting the drilled holes. Especially for those that live in an area where salt is used on the roads in the winter. The fenders on our trucks are not aluminum.
