Default access plate?

while changing my oil last night i saw there were two removable rubber plates under the truck. i know the one on the driver's side is for the channel for the bit of oil that runs out when the filter is removed but what is the other one for?

Not to sound like a wise *****, but if you go up and look down at it from under the hood and see what is right above it like a radiator drain or something is the way I normally figure stuff like that out.
My 2013 does not have anything blocking the motor access from below.

nope, no radiator drain that i could see above it nor is the radiator anywhere near the access plate. here is a shot i found online under the truck. the rubber plate circled in red is for the oil runoff from removing the filter. i'm trying to figure out what the plate circled in green is for.

There's nothing up there appropriate for a little access square with the 5.0. (that I can see) One section of the steering, but you'd have to remove the entire plate (and other stuff) to do anything with that.
