That's why I'm still making my traction bars, I have HARD shudder towing and I'm going to stop it. Totally.

New spring package!
Helps stop the axle wrap to remove "most " of the symptoms.
My dealer popped in my VIN and out popped a fix bulletin.
Truck has to go in and dealer read part # off my spring assembly and order new parts.
Going in next week.
Stay tuned!
Hit my dealer up and scheduled the spring package to get sorted out at the same time the transmission pump is sorted out. Thank you for the heads up and follow through.

Just got out of my dealership and the fix is not new springs but spacerblocks to adjust pinion angle and ride height. Parts on back order.
Sheet!
Here comes my traction bars to stop the axle wrap for sure!

Make two pair and I'll buy the second set from you.

Really.

I'll post the do it yourself link plus my mods to fit the F150 when I get home.

My dealer wants to put these spacer blocks on mine also to chage pinion angle. Do you know what it would do to ride height...Higher or lower? Thanks.

I have a shudder when I'm towing a trailer also. But not much at take off. It's more at highway speed when I get in a pull like going up a hill. I have an 09 4X4 extended cab.

My guess is it has to be higher in the rear but not by much. The angle will be the bigger change. This would help keep the driveshaft angle in the "lower shudder " range more often while loaded.

Higher would be good! After they told me they were going to change the pinion angle I looked at the pinion to driveshaft and the angle looks a little severe and that's with no load on the truck.
