Default Acceleration Rattle

I’ve had this rattle when accelerating up hills. Sound is not consistent and will be fine for awhile then come back. I’ve checked my hubs and vacuum as well as heat shields.

took it to ford and they couldn’t replicate not replicate the sound.

up hill and at 1000-2000 RPM’s seems to be when it’s worse

If the noise is coming from the engine, this sounds like piston skirt slap. Check your timing and buy the highest octane you can find (94 or above) to test this theory.
