Default ac problems

2011 f150 to summarize, blend door clicking and air not too cold. Assumed blend door not fully open/closed. Replaced door, performed fuse removal for recalibration. Gear in blend door was damaged, air remains substandard, found it was a little low, using an Auto zone canister gauge fill unit with the set the dial to the outside temp, I added a little Freon, target of about 45 psi corresponded with outside temp. Now exterior fan runs super high, air gets pretty cool, with a/c off hot air blows out of the floor vents. When the a/c is turned on hot air blows from floor then to defrost the from main vents and then gets cool. what the heck?

Disconnect the negative battery cable for no less than 15 mins, run the ac temp all the way to cold and let stabilize for a few secs. Now run the temp all the way hot and let stabilize. Shut the truck of for 5 mins and check operation.
