Default AC Help PLEASE!!!!

I have a 2011 lariat limited with dual zone climate. I recently changed the blend door actuator behind the radio which was knocking but had no other issues. After changing I know have hot air on drivers side when AC is on. Passenger side is fine. Any ideas before tearing out dash and replacing lower actuator? Just seems odd that everything was fine before replacement of actuator. Thanks.

Sounds like the blend door actuator hasn't completed a calibration cycle. You can reset it by disconnecting the battery for no less than 15 mins. After that start the truck but DO NOT do anything with the climate controls, don't change fan speed, don't change from hot to cold or vise versa, let the truck idle for 2 mins then shut it off. Wait 5 mins and go about your business as usual.

Thanks. I pulled HVAC fuse but did not disconnect battery. I've seen several members with same issue that say a new HVAC dash module was culprit. I'll try the battery first. Like I said just seems odd that the lower actuator would go bad with no knocking or any other symptoms. The upper one I replaced was bad. No teeth left on splines. Thanks again I appreciate everything.

If he hasn't had time in the last 2 years to do that, he probably never will.
