Default abs noise HELP!

2012 f150 EB lariat 4x4.
i’ve basically been tracking this issue for 2 months and can’t figure it out but it’s driving me nuts. in short, when coming to a stop right about 5mph and below i get a abs like noise coming from the front left wheel, and can slightly feel it in the pedal. it’s not quite as loud as normal abs but sounds just like it. had the shop check the hub/bearing they said it was fine. put new brake pads because i found one of the pads was missing the clips. wasn’t the problem. any ideas?

I had a Suburban at the shop that did exactly the same thing.
It was a broken wire in the harness.
We put the scanner on it and drove it while watching the data, and you could see it go to zero while the other 3 were still reading 5 mph.

Yes, the harness feeding the sensor, not the actual sensor.
It was about 4 feet long and plugged into the main harness in the eng. compartment.

This was a GM quite a few yrs. ago.
1st step is to get a scan tool that can read data and figure out which wheel for sure.
Then jack it up and spin the wheel by hand and start wiggling the wires while monitoring the data on the scan tool until you find the break.
