Default about to get rid of my f150

so i have a 2012 f150 super crew 5.0L and im about done with it. Since day one the transmission has not shifted correctly, and is wearing on me. I have to really mash the pedal to get the truck to down shift, and at stop lights it continuously bumps as if downshifts into 1st. I have 20k miles, and im tired of it. I bringing it in monday for the last time, and if its not fixed im getting rid of it. just wanted to rant a bit.

Sorry to hear that. I too have some issues with my truck that Ford will not fix. It is extremely frustrating to say the least.

Did they reflash it? I read on here some1 had similar issues and Ford reflashed the truck, fixed... not sure what you have been through yet so its just a guess.

I also have a 12' F150 super crew 5.0L with 4,000 miles and have that dreaded bump when stopping. I took it in for the for it first oil change and they couldn't find anything wrong with it and no tsb from Ford. The truck was assembled in June 2012...wonder if they had a bad batch of transmissions then? Strange thing about about these 6 speed trannies is they shift ok going up but down shifting is starting to worry me...I want to keep this truck for as long as I can.

I have called multiple dealers and asked them to reflash the transmission, and they all wont do it. They act dumb like they have no clue what I am talking about, not a huge fan of ford service in general. So on monday im bringing the truck to where I bought it, and leaving it for there transmission tech to look at.

And take the four bolts holding the driveshaft to the rear. Slide out the driveshaft and put marine wheel bearing grease in the slip yoke.
