Yep. 4x4 version is rated at that, 2WD version is rated at 22. But, if you look at the small print just below the "21" it says "expected range for most drivers: 17 to 25MPG".

I've seen enough reports on this and other forums to feel comfortable anticipating 23 mpg or so in highway driving after the new rig is broke in. Personally I think that even 20mpg for a 7,000 pound, full size truck is pretty darn good. In the not too distant past, if a person got 15mpg out of a full sized truck it was something to brag about. For the past 12 years I have been driving a 1987 Toyota extended cab 4x4 pickup with a 22R 4cyl. On it's best day, I can get 22 mpg on the highway, IF I keep it below 70mph (some days I can't even get it to 70mph if I have a head wind).

The folks at the dealership told me to expect it sometime in early April...but of course I'm hoping it shows up sooner.

We ordered on 18 Jan, got the VIN 2 days later, and then last week got the info that the build date was Feb 14th. It really wasn't "real" until I was able to pull up the sticker this morning...now it's gona be agony waiting for it to get to Montana!

$38K for any ecoboost. Wow...that'd be an easy $46K truck here in Canada. It must be because your dollar is higher than...wait a minute! Your dollar is worth LESS than ours.

Hmmmm...thanks for shoving it in our rectum, car manufacturers. ?
