Default 7 Lug Wheels For HD Payload Package

This was originally posted under Aftermarket/wheels and tires, but it was getting hardly any reads and no replies.

My 2012 F150,ext cab, 8' bed, 4wd has the factory HD payload package. This includes 7 lug axles and LT245/70/R17 tires. There appears to be plenty of room to upsize the tires. I'm having a devil of a time finding upgraded wheels with the 7 lug pattern. After hours of internet searching I've found stock steel wheels (you know they're going to be heavy) on Amazon, and that's it. Where do I go to find some options? I want to put on the widest tread/tallest sidewall snow or all terrain tires possible without having to do any body mods. If you've done this on your truck, I would appreciate recommendations on tires. I'm open to going up in wheel diameter, but have no motivation to do it. Last ?: Where do I find the wheel width and offset measurements of the stock wheels? All help with this will be appreciated.

Tire rack lists a couple wheels for a HD truck. I have american racing wheels (don't recall the model) on mine.

I would contact your local tire shop and see what they say. As far as tires lots of guys run hankook dynapro atm's around here. I am also seeing lots of Faulken tires making an appearance.

Default Thanks For The Tip

Hey ToTheMax--Thanks for the tip on Tire Rack. Locally I've used Discount Tire for years, and their entire system doesn't carry 7 lug wheels. Also, the local off-road truck speed shop couldn't help me either. 6 lugs out my wazoo, but 7 lugs are like low calorie scotch. I'm hoping someone else has found the 7 lug wheels.
