Default 6R80 Tuning

Can anybody shed some light on this?

I don't see much published on it. Right now I'm running a mpt race tune with some bolt ons and am feeling like there's more to be had with harder and faster shifts.

Anybody know limits for the maximum line pressure and tcc solenoid pressure? Right now I am seeing 150 psi and 265 psi respectively. I read somewhere the pump won't push more than 150 psi.

I also don't want the throttle to close on the shift. I'm not making that much power or turning that big of a tire. I know the trans and axle are strong enough for what I want I want it to do.

This is the 2nd tune I've bought from mpt. I called them on 2 different occasions and 2 different people couldn't answer my question and told me the tuners didn't really like to get on the phone. The 2nd guy told me I could email them, which I did and all they said was we recommend what is already programmed

I usually set my max allowed pressure to 175-200psi. I wont go over 200psi.

As for the throttle closing on the shift, thats something that needs to be done in the torque management for the tune.

While the 6R80 is a great trans, you can only make it shift so fast/hard. I have mine set pretty quick in my custom tune, but thats my race tune. My street tune/DD is a middle ground. Only quick at WOT, soft and smooth at cruise.

Is that line pressure or solenoid pressure? Are you using hptuners?
