I recently took back my '09 RCSB 4x4 from my younger brother. However, the tranny is way jacked up. Constantly slips and then grabs, and barely grabs when it does. It has the 5.4 with the 6R80, currently with 145K, and pulling the codes gives me:
P0716 Turbine/Input Shaft Speed (TSS) A CKT Range/Performance
P0741 Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid CKT Perf or Stuck Off
P0735 Gear 5 (5GR) Incorrect Ratio
P0000 Info Not Available

I am stuck using my phone since I'm on vacation, and searching reveals a lot of 50-page TSB posts that I can't locate specific information on. I suppose the big question is: has anyone had a similar problem or is this pretty much mean I'm headed to the tranny shop when I get home? All three of my 09-14 gen trucks have had the 6R80, and this is the first time I've had a problem, so I'm pretty lost.

Fortunately it looks like an electrical problem rather than mechanical. I'd take a good look at the transmission harness connector. Hopefully someone will be able to give you some more specific advice soon.
