Curious, why exactly would you want the 6.2 in an F150? I would think that if you really needed that much more towing ability than the EcoBoost offers, then you should just go with an F250. Plus you're not going to get much worse mpg with the 250 and you can probably get one for alot cheaper. I have zero experience towing, so Im just kinda curious.

Also, for the first 8 years I had a license I drove a 2003 F150 with the V6 that had just slightly more power than a Vespa. Compared to that my 5.0 might as well be a Ferrari speed-wise, so to me the 6.2 would just be massive overkill in that department.

So again, just kinda curious about the reasons why folks would want the 6.2 in a half ton. And as a heads up, I am one of those people who believes that "I want one because I want one and its my money" is a way more than adequate answer to the question!
some of us like to go fast. and beat sports cars at the track!! :p

Love my 2011 Lariat 6.2Screw 4 x4. I wanted all the power I could get for what I do. A bit of work a bit of play. That 6.2 gives me both worlds any time I desire it.
