I was lucky on the storm that caused this damage. I live and work out in way West Omaha and didn't get any hail. Did you get any from the storms last night?

I had an 02 with temp tags still on it and 3000 in damages. They said I needed a new roof. The roof is steel and the hood is aluminum. I stuck the money in my pocket and never did the repairs. 2 years later, you couldn't see hardly a thing on the g
hood and most of the roof had disappeared also. The heat and cold will pull some of them out. The ones on the roof will likely get smaller, but never go away fully. Sold it in 04 for the truck I own now, and the dealership never even suspected that it had hail damage 2 years prior.

True story!!

I would not even worry about the roof, you will have more problems if they cut out and replace the roof, than if you just leave it and never look at the roof

We didn't have anything larger than pea size hail here

I'm thinkin about leaving the roof go or see if they can do just the paintless dent removal because I really don't want them cutting my roof off a truck that has 4800 miles on it

The Mythbusters actually dimpled a car like a golf ball. They had noticeable MPG improvement!

Whenever I even think there is hail forecasted I will go and put heavy blankets on the truck. We get hail often in Alabama with these severe thunderstorms. Worst timing of hail I ever got was sitting a boat ramp with my 1947 correct craft. Luckily it was popcorn hail for about a minute but I almost **** my pants. I hustled the boat under a tree.
