Yep, love driving that truck! Can't stand to drive the wife's new car, rather drive the three year old truck.

And a Roush SC lol. The Roush canned tune is awful and I suspect the culprit behind the crap mpg. It's all in the works of getting retuned and more boost and power thrown at it.
Call and talk with Jim Jr at JDM engineering. See if they have a tune for your Roush charged truck.

I'm using Torrie at Unleashed. I know both Jim and Jr pretty well. I was in the Lightning game for several years, fully built 3.4 Whipple. Nothing against them but I'm giving a Torrie a shot. My next option would be just driving to Memphis and letting DynoSpeed tune it.

My recently departed 2014 Lariat EB RWD was a joy to drive, I also have a 120 mile RT daily and in 20 months racked up 63K miles on it. Lifetime recorded MPG(not dash, but Fuelly) with 3500 miles of heavy towing last year, and some light duty towing the previous year came out to 17.8 MPG. Was getting between 18-19 winter and 20-22 summer going to/from work.

Heres hoping the replacement 2016 gets as good and trouble free miles.

Speaking of city driving, there's city driving and then there is stupid city driving. LA, Atlanta, New York, Chicago and Toronto are miserable for MPG driving a truck. I get 11mpg in city and 21 mpg on the hwy. Yucky city driving!
^this explains to some of us having "good" city mileage why others don't have. Some cities have stop signs or traffic lights at every 200' and if we get caught in those areas we'll take a toll on the mileage. Add at it rush hours or a flock of Mr. & Mrs. Magoos. Toronto is awful in this matter, while in the surrounding cities our mileage goes up almost exponentially. But honestly I don't loose my sleep on that, on the contrary, I keep my cool and enjoy every second of my time driving the truck.

Winter blend and the wife's cold feet, cold hands, cold everything, hence heating in full blast and lots of idling (on her hands) doesn't take away the pleasure of owning, or comfort and sure confidence on my daily driver for the past 3 worry free years. Highway mileage is awesome and better then many suvs or minivans.

Well, either my words are correct or I lost my sanity the moment I got the truck's keys, because since then I don't know what do I love the most, if the good weather for long pleasant family journeys, or if the bad weather (snow storms) for giggles, adventure trips and unstoppable ego boosts... Nothing to do with engine options

I have a 14 FX4 5.0 and I am getting between 14.5 to 16 mpg with a 6" Procomp lift and 35" ProComp tires and wheels. I am 80% highway.
