The house passes bills, but Harry and the tards in the Senate do Obama's work and refuse to bring them up for a vote.

Say, how long as it been since the Senate, controlled by Democrats, has passed a budget? That's right - over 1,000 days. Hmmm.

You know why ford is best. Why they didn't take a bailout, and why all other car makers are comparing to Ford? Free

Sorry, but that story makes no sense at all. Just because oil is sent to Houston and LA doesn't mean it will be sold off to other countries. When supply increases as compared to the demand for a product, prices drop, period. Will oil companies sell more fuel in other countries that are paying more? Of course they will. That's a no brainer. But if demand increases and supply, whether it's the ability to access the product (ie drilling) or the ability to ship (ie pipelines) or the ability to develop the raw product (ie refining) does not increase to keep up with that supply, prices will increase.

This current administration has blocked the ability to drill in certain areas, the ability to ship the crude oil and are now attacking the process of extracting more oil from places that already have low producing wells. By no means am I saying the president you are defending is the only reason for rising oil prices, but I am saying that he and his administration are doing a very good job of trying to lower the prices.

Do you really think most of the oil extracted in an area is shipped halfway around the world? Seriously?

I never said the US doesn't export some oil products. Check your comprehension.

The US rarely exports crude oil. That's a fact.

Further, most of our refined product exports go to Mexico, Central America, and South America.

It stays close to home because it costs too much to ship it across the globe.

THAT is the only point I'm making.

Nobody said said anything about who owns the wells. We're talking about oil futures. Refusing to drill more = higher prices. Period.

Nancy and Harry ran things in 2008. Need I say more?
There is a ton of oil that is refined here that is sold on the world market. Oil companies will sell their oil where the highest profit is. But oil that is extracted and refined here does create jobs. I am living proof of that as I work in the oilfield up in the Bakken Shale in North Dakota. And I live in Houston where a ton of my friends and family work directly and indirectly for the oil industry.

Sit around and watch the economy crash again I reckon...since too many people can't seem to comprehend what "living within your means" is...Seriously, if even 75% of the US (vs the current ~50%) would actually get out and read up on a few things and vote with their brain instead of their emotions this country would be a lot better and all the crooks up in DC would all be somewhere in BF New Mexico surrounded by a ~50ft tall electric fence. But around here they just sit in their trailer and bitch about having to earn a living like the rest of us and how the big Gov is bending us over...oh well, they're still not as bad as the Wild & Wonderful Whites of West Virginia...
