5.0 Water Leak - Colorful at Reservoir, WHY???

I'm just here waiting to see the explanation of why he was only running water in the cooling system. How the hell it didn't overheat is beyond me, the normal operating temperature is right at the boiling point of water.

The boiling point of water is 212 F at sea level. The coolant system runs at 16 psig, so the boiling point of pure water in the coolant system would be around 260 F. You won't risk overheating if you run pure water (pure water actually has better heat transfer properties than a 50/50 antifreeze mix), but corrosion would be a huge problem.
