I have a 2013 5.0 3.55 CC FX4

I test drove a 2013 F150 EB SC 4x2, 3.31 rear gearing.

Am i missing something because the 2013 EB is supposed to feel so much faster and didn't. Felt like it was down horsepower on the 5.0. The two trucks weigh about the same but it felt VERY different and way raspy, generally sounded like crap and very peaky compared to my 5.0.

Anyone else feel this way?

It's a different truck. I feel like I have to thrash the 5.0 in my wife's truck when I get out of my EB.

Numbers don't lie: The EB makes more power and torque in a lighter package - full stop. The gearing wouldn't have made much of a difference.

To each their own... aren't you glad you bought a V8?

In case you guys haven't managed to figure out, it mimicks the thread 3 posts down that has the same damn thread title, "EB owner drives 2013 5.0- Not impressed"

Was an attempt to show that there's two sides to every coin, as well as bring up the fact that everyone likes whatever engine they have. Here, i'll even link the other thread... Clearly my point was not made in an easy to understand way...
