Default 5.0 muffler replacement

Has anyone changed out just the muffler in there 5.oh?
I'm wondering if it would be worth it or just a waist of time
I'm not looking to spend a lot of money I'm looking for something that will add just a little bit of tone to the truck. I have heard the resonator deletes and IMO sound like crap.
So I'm looking to see if anyone has done it, what they went with, how it sounds, and any other details would be great.!

If you search YouTube for F-150 dynomax VT you'll find a few videos I've done of muffler swap, and also resonator delete+muffler swap.

I have a stainless 18" magnaflow for muffler and had a 4" stainless magnaflow exhaust tip installed. Added more rumble which isn't too loud. Exactly what I wanted for a daily driver. I paid around 150 bucks for everything including getting it welded in. Got the muffler and tip off of ebay.

Borla or Corsa! I have a corsa on my 2012 5.0, and my grand dad has borla on his 2016 5.0

What model Borla would you guys recommend? I've been eyeing up the Borla XR-1. I want something that isn't too loud and no annoying drone.. just a little rumble!

I went relatively cheap with mine and I think it turned out great. 14" magnaflow and deleted the resonator. Total bill came to around $200 for everything installed, which I thought was fair. Has a nice rumble and little to no drone.

.
I've got the SType. When first installed, I was slightly disappointed, but once it got a few miles of freeway driving on it, it was perfect. The Borla needs to be burned in.
BTW, the only difference between the ATAK and the SType on the newer systems, is the SType comes with a resonator, and the ATAK doesn't. Same muffler on both.
ZERO drone on mine.
