I guess it depends on what you want to use your truck for. If its just to go yo the grocery store and church then why muck with it? But i like my vehicles to be fun to drive and putting mods on are fun. Wecan go ask the career Performance Shop guys what intake is the best and while they may all have their opinion i will bet none say the factory one.

The truck already comes with a CIA, it pulls in cool air from the fender, that system is just like all the other so called cia and it's NOT! It's now sucking in all that under hood heat from the engine.
With the hood liner in place there's no way for the top of that box to seal against the hood.
The best filter and air intake is already in place.
