+1 for this. Had an exhaust shop remove my muffler and weld in a piece of straight pipe. I also don't care for the dual exhaust look. Cost me $50, looks stock and it's the exact sound I was looking for. Haven't noticed a difference in MPG's. I know it's probably not the most eco-friendly way to do it but it's way less expensive than a $600+ exhaust system.

I also had them remove the resonator also. Holy crap it was like a damn nascar. I went back and had them throw in a flow master 40 series. So I only have that. Very nice sound.

Yeah. Have me a headache in like 10 mins. Sounded like a nascar. My neighbor races figure eights in Colorado and it was louder then that car. In total the shop that Sponsors him hooked it up for 100 cash. That was cutting the resonator and muffler out to a straight pipe. Then throwing the 40 series Flowmaster in.

MO, if you know for sure what brand your interested in, then google that name brand and go to their home website. Most have what types of mufflers are available from them with sizing charts and dimensions. Once you find the one you want it will list the part number and you can search for the best price by that name and part number. Jegs and summit racing will Price match any low price you find. Here is a example since you like Flow master this is a link to their site and sizing for street mufflers.http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/?page_id=11118

Have a raptor exhaust on mine. Sounds better than stock and is put on the same as stock as it is a stock setup. Preserves original system perfectly. If want raptor exh louder can remove resonater.

Thanks
I had a local muffler shop remove stock exhaust (including resonator) and install a 40 series Flowmaster (single in/ dual out) and pipe straight out the back. Looks and sounds just like your video link.

Oh yeah, about $250 and an hour later I was killing my mpg to listen to 'em.

I have a single side 3inch Magnaflow cat back with no resonator. Installed at an exhaust shop for 275 with polished dual wall tip.. sounds great. Even better now that I have my k&n cai.
