4x4 vs 4x2
I would have to say 4x4 Dominates but even better Fx4! Lets go team 4x4 Benefits of it Winter time more traction and more safety, But i will give it to 4x2 Better Mpg and a smoother ride... But 4x4 all the way!
I got it because I often go up to the mountains when it snows. Mine has larger all terrain tires as well. That way when chains are often required, not necessary if you have a 4x4 with snow rated tires. Plus I will eventually use it to tow my Jeep (for real off roading).
If you don't have a use for 4x4, then get the 2wd. However, you will wish you had gotten it when the Zombie Apocalypse comes...

Lmao! My reason for going 4x4 of 4x2 was more or less this thinking. I mean we only get snowed on hard enough to require 4x4 maybe 5-6 times a every two years. But on those rare times I don't want to be trapped at home. Its also fun to pull people out of ditches! Anyhow my theory was the old, its better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
But personal preference is king if you live in the paved world where you can just stay home if the weather is bad, or call AAA if you get stuck.
I used to carpool with a friend who had 2WD f-150 in the DC/MD area. It was embarrassing sometimes going uphill on rainy days and the tires were spinning not moving the truck forward when the bed was empty(even with still good tires). Just a few months ago I bought a 2013 Screw 4x4 thinking I would need it in winter but for my surprise I had to use 4x4 twice already just trying to park my truck uphill in reverse on a dirt and grass field. The bed was empty also in this situations and my tires are almost new.
I'm I the only one who had experience this?
I don't have a problem parking my FWD cars in the same spot.
