Lightbulb 4x4 Truck LEDs *Follow my experience*

Alright fellow owners I have finally ventured into the realm of LED headlights AND Fogs for my '12 Supercab. After some research both on the forums and on the greater internet I found that F150 LED's.com have some pretty crummy products and even worse customer service. Ordering from Canada means I am paying for my purchase in USD and have to pay an extremely expensive shipping charge from NY state (4x4 leds location) I can't risk ordering a crap product and have the hassle of returning it from Canada.

Anyhow for those who are interested in ordering from 4x4 Truck LEDs I am here to be the guinea pig for everyone. I will share all aspects of the ordering process, the delivery time, the installation and the quality and a follow up say 6 months down to the road to see how everything is going and how well the bulbs can hold up.

There is a lot of these so called "high quality" LED bulb manufacturers online claiming that their bulb is far superior to the next guys. Well lets put their money where their mouths are.

Here's a photo of my order just so everyone can see the beginning to the end here.

So, you have researched and now believe this store is not the place to buy...and you are buying from them internationally? I don't get it.

Diode Dynamics.

Well, I thought those 2 names were the same store, but I guess not. So, I get it, now.

I feel like someone is getting free lighting or getting paid to “review” 4x4 LEDs...

How are you the Guinea Pig? I’ve been running these lights for 2.5 years. 4x4truckleds used to be on this forum until the mods removed him for some reason.

Also, I highly doubt Adam at 4x4truckleds is giving these away and he’s surely not paying anyone to review.

The op must not have searched very hard for these if he thinks he’s the first around here to try them. I reviewed them years ago in the lighting section.

I have the 4x4LEDS and I bought them through his Facebook page. He is also very responsive to answering questions, etc. I haven't had any issues either and I bought them this time last year.

Absolutely not. No endorsement or free lights here. Just an honest to goodness review of my experience purchasing, installing and running these lights.

I'm happy that you've already owned these lights and had good luck with them. However many of the owners on the forum DO NOT own any products from 4x4 LED's so I will be the "guinea pig" from them and me.

I bought CrystaLux XHP H13s from 4x4LED's after reading several positive reviews on this forum (NO free-bees or discount) about 14-16 months ago after trying several different halogen bulbs as well as halogen projectors that have over 700 posts about on this forum.
These LEDs exceeded my expectations. Bright, yet no one flashes when approaching. I did have to adjust them down a bit from the halogens, but over all I like them. Work well for me on light or dark pavement, wet or dry.
I hope you like them as well.

I guess I take living in a border city for granted. When I order stuff from the US I have it shipped to a US address. I still have to pay duty but it saves the broker fees and most have free shipping in the lower 48.

Speaking of Import Fees, I woke up this morning to a UPS email informing me that I have to pay over $130 in import Fees for 4 led bulbs...NOT IMPRESSED, yet I already paid over $40USD to ship them to Canada from New York! NO FINE PRINT THERE IN THE ORDER

Outrageous import duty
