Lifted eco

It first occured in the snow about 2 months ago. While in 4x4high under heavy throttle in the snow and turning the truck would make a loud bang like a gun shot when off and the truck would kick out of 4wd. When this happened i stopped and you could feel the truck go back into 4wd. Then over the weekend we got the maverick stuck in a mud hole in the back yard. took the truck back there and played around some and pull it out. while under throttle it sounded like gun shots. I selected 2wd and it didnt disengauge, i had to cycle the selector for it to go to 2wd. It started popping while going strait after this time. this is all during heavy rain. i went downt he road in 4hi and it was making a rotational clunk. then today its 70 outside and its working fine. So im thinking its vacuum related, do the 13's suffer from the 4wd solenoid getting moisture in it?

I'll probably take it in this week. Was just curious if anyone came across this. It did it before the lift, so I'm worried if the tech doesn't have a clue what it is he has his fall back of claiming its because of the lift/tires.
