Default 4wd noises....

Installed 2" AS leveling spacers three weeks ago. Within two days, had it in 4wd... Grinding/rubbing noise from front end. Tires clear everything no problem, definitely coming out of cv's, axles, diff, or driveshaft. Very similar to what I had in my '03 Z71 I just got out of, which had torsion bars cranked up just a bit. Have any of you experienced this after kit install? Is this noise due to the leveling kit? If so, how worried should I be and is there a solution to the problem? Don't use 4wd often, so maybe not a big issue, but I hate the sound when I am using it.

Thanks!

Probably busted one or both of the IWE (integrated wheel end).
Very easy to check.
Jack the front of the truck.
Spin a wheel. (listen for grinding and look at the axle shaft it should be spinning with the wheel)
Now start the truck(leave in 2wd). Spin a wheel (listen for grinding and look at the axle shaft now it should NOT be turning with the wheel)

Also the 4wd should only be used on loose traction conditions. I believe the front diff isnt a open diff.

Just had the right side IWE on mine fixed. Was giving me grinding/groaning noises while turning at low speeds. Dealership diagnosed and had it fixed within a few hours... under warranty though so not sure what the cost would have been out of warranty.

Is this something common when installing a leveling kit? If this is the case, do I go back to the installer with the or what??

Only used in mud and rock, then back to 2wd on hard pack. Not my first time using 4wd....

It's kind of common I guess just know what I've seen on here. The seal on iwe is a plastic ring so if the installer isn't care full when taking off the ball joints. When they let the axle shafts just swing, it can break.
