I just received a a regular cab XLT 4 x 4 that I ordered. I missed it in the fine print, but I was expecting cupholders and storage on the back of the folddown armrest. ( Only comes on Supercab and Supercrew ). Has anyone else in this situation, swapped just the seatback? Or is there a better option. Since this is the first year for the taller seatbacks, would a 2010 fit? I tried to search for these answers but failed to come up with the right search parameters. Appreciate any info / suggestions that can be provided.

 

I like having it be all padding... I have the cupholders on the floor instead... so when the wife knocks hers over, it ends up on the vinyl floor instead of the seats.

 

I wonder why it's different. Never could figure out why the supercrews had 4 cup holders for only 2 people anyway. I swapped mine for a center console; it has cup holders in the front and the back
