Mike at 5star tuning recommended a SCT with his tune. He also said you can use the SCT on any other ford vehicles that you may have or trade up to. I have a 4.6 2v xl 2010. The best mod for us would be to trade for a 5.0 LOL!

I am not sure about the gains , but his name is Mike and he will reply back to you very fast. He has great customer service according to what people say here and he e- mailed me back the very ext day. If you already have a tuner it will not be that expensive. If you don't I believe it will cost a little over $300 for the tuner and 3 custom tunes.

Well I can tell you this, on my 10 4.6 I hated to take it to the dealership cause I would return to stock, hated it at stock after my tune. Sold the 4.6 for new 5.0 when I got it as svc loaner, maybe suckered into it but don't regret it. If your keeping it or not consider if you buy a 5.0 you can still use your tuner, you will not regret.

Well im 18 years old and this truck took all my life savings to get and im still paying for it so the 5.0 isn't an option yet lol. But it looks like im going to be selling my bully dog and getting a sct. Is a cai worth it? Or a throttle body spacer any good?
