I've read a lot of posts and can't find a straight answer. I've got the 4.2 Sync screen and want to completly remove it for an aftermarket nav system. My question is what will I loose by removing this? I don't care about the sync at all. I want to buy a stock navigation bezel from ford and use that instead of a cheap aftermarket bezel. Number one reason I don't want the nav at knee level. So will my ac and heat controls still work without sync? Will not having sync affect anything like 4x4, trailer brake, on screen dash display, or anything else I wouldn't want to lose? I know I will have to alter a stock nac piece to work also, not a big deal. Let me know if you have any advice? If these answers can be found in a thread I missed please point me in the right direct. Provided everything is answered in it.
