4.10s....
Hi, im new here, but not to fords, only vehicle i have ever owned.. anyway I have an 11' f150 screw 4x4 5.0 w/ 3.55 gears, and i am getting ready this week to put on 285s or 305s, a buddy at work has a 12' single cab short bed hemi ram, we have run them a couple times and its pretty much a dead heat, im actually a little stronger out of the hole, but I know with bigger tires and these trucks being so close he will out run me, and I just dont think I can handle his mouth... but I know the EBs come with the max tow package and a 4.10 rear end option, I am assuming it is the same front and rear diffs as mine, I was thinking about buying these front and rear ring and pinion sets from the dealer, anyone else done this sort of thing? cost?

You will lose a little of your get up and go with the 3.55. I have a 2011 crewcab with 33" tires and I put the 4.10's in it with a custom tune from VMP. It gave me back everything I lost and then some. It also corrected the speedo. I have the 5.0 and I have raced seveal Dodge's and beat them all. It will come out of the hole like it was shot out of a slingshot. Call Randy's Ring and Pinion to get your parts and install kits. They are Ford parts but alot cheaper than the dealer. Trust me it is well worth the money.
