Default 37's on 2011 screw?

Hey guys, im getting a 6" lift with 20" fuel hostage rims. I really would like 37's but would i need to regear the truck?? I wont be offroading at all just occasional driving on the beach during summer. If so how much am i looking at in price? I have a 2011 xlt. Ive heard that i do need to regear and that i dont need to. Confused as h*** right now.

What gears are in your truck now? Even 3.73's are going to be high for 37's. What motor?

I had 35's on my 2002 f150 and it ran perfectly fine. Around the time i hit 180k miles i put on some Coopers that were 37's and man that was a mistake. I felt my transmission just go down. Im not sure if it was because i had so many miles on it or i never re-geared it but im not going past 35's from now on

Why not????? I would think 35's would be okay. I just like the size of 37's. I could live with 35's.

I thought I read somewhere that the new 2011's can't be re-geared (rear end)
