Default 33s or 34s with AS 2.5 level?

im having the autospring 2.5 level and roadmaster RAS installed this week. currently i have 20x9 wheels with 0 offset and 305/55 nitto trail grapplers. im looking for new wheels and tires. my truck is a '10 screw with 3.55 gears. here is what i am considering,

1) 20x9 0 offset wheels with 285/60 (33.5x11.5) goodyear duratracs

2) 20x10 -12 with 305/55 (33.4x12.4) goodyear duratracs

3) 20x9 0 offset with 295/60 (34x11.5) toyo at2's

I really want the duratracs but unfortunately they don't come in a 295/60. my concern is that will 33s look small on the 2.5 level and RAS. what would you guys recommend?

My tires are 290/70r18 (34.5 ish inches tall) and I can not fit anything bigger. 33-34 would look just fine.

Correction: Your tires are not 34.5 inches tall. I run a 295/70/r18 and that measures to about 34.2 inches. Your tires are right at 34 inches. I had rubbing, but it was easily fixed by trimming the plastic inner fender liner with a pocket knife and tin snips.

Option 3... A 34.6" tire fits perfect on a 2.5 auto spring...

Opt 3. I have 275/65r20 34.5" and the tires fit great. No rub even at full crank. I do have the issue of the uca hitting the coil going over speed bumps btw. I added raptor blocks AND the ras to get to the stance I wanted. I was level to a bit nose high with just the ras and stock 4x4 blocks. I have the bilstein 5100 and AS 2.5 up front. I have the eb engine which I think may be lighter and as a result sit a bit higher vs other engines.

thanks for the replies so far. seems like option 3 will be the way to go. i wish the duratracs were available in that size but i have seen that the toyo's have good reviews and hopefully will look aggressive. would a 275/65 (34x11) duratrac be too skinny? i do like the wheels to stick out a bit past the fenders (nothing too crazy, something like i have now, which is about 1.5" past)

steelers1,

i will be installing a set of bilstein 5100s at the same time and was a bit worried after reading your post, but im hoping it will be different with the 5.4L, what setting do you have on the RAS? i think i will go with the black disc setting and hopefully get 1" lift, which should leave a 1/4" rake if my measurements are correct (2.75" from autospring level and 1" from RAS, my stock set up had a 2" rake).

here is just another option which I did.... Mind You My Bushwacker Flares make the tires look smaller, I plan to go to 35" or 36" BFG KM2's and new Rims, once the ball joints wear out Im going to Ready Lift A - Arm & Ball Joint kit gives 3" - 5" and can run up to 38" tire

Here is my truck with 275/65/20 = 34.1", BFG's and I have 3" lift Pro Comp and 2.5" rear block
