Default 315/70r17 fit with no level stock xlt tims.

I did a search and everyone that had this size or 35/12.5r17 had a lift or level. How much(if at all) will they rub without a level?

I'm looking at a used set of BFG all terrians to put on my stock XLT rims I have sitting around to use them when I go 4 wheeling.

Pictures would be nice too, Thanks

A 315x70x17 is almost the same as a 35x12.5x17...great tires, I had them on my '04 that was leveled.

The online calculator says 34.4x12.4 so I'm hoping that will help my case. Also these tires do not have an aggressive sidewall so that should help.

My old '04 with the BFG's on 17x8 wheels with 5.5 inches of BS...as close to stock specs as you can get.

No rubbing at all with those wheel's which were the perfect size to run that size tire on. Truck was leveled 2 1/2 inches in the front. One more pic...no rubbing at all with these wheels.

ive got a leveling kit up front with 315/70/17s wrangler duratracs with agressive sidewall tread on stock 17x7.5 inch rims and i get rubbing on swaybar and upper control arm.

smooth sidewalls might rub a little but not feel it as much.
but with these agressive sidewalls i can definitely feel the vibration at full lock turns.

That's where the 8" wide wheel's I had helped out...the extra 1/2" put the tires away from the control arm yet not out far enough to rub the fenderwell's when turning.

I can deal with full lock rubbing. I'm mostly concerned with rubbing the fenders which could damage the tire or the truck in anyway. I want to be able to put these tires with my stock wheels on my truck and have fun for a weekend then swap back without the tires rubbing and causing damage.

ya you are probly right, the rubbing at full lock on the sway bar and uca are both smooth surfaces and will probly only damage the tire after significant treadwear is present anyways. i hope u r right cuz im counting on it myself , lol
