I am taking a 200+ mile roadtrip tomorrow to do Christmas shopping ****, I will report back on my overall mileage. I have some mountains to go up and down so I will try tow mode one way adn see what it does.

i live in Phoenix and have to empty my catch can about every 3-4 weeks or about every 750 miles

The problem is, he only drives 2.5 miles to work. That tells you the engine never gets up to operating temperature. That means really bad mpg.

Tow mode extends shift points, and adds in better engine breaking. If you aren't towing, it will lower your MPG.

Nothing to see here.....It is the short trips that are killing my MPG's.
This is a blurry pic my wife took today while I was driving from Cottonwood to Mesa, AZ. I had the cruse set on 70 and ethanol free 89 octane gas in the tank. The trip meter at this pic said 20.9

Im in the busy streets of LA and driving around town average me 12.5-13.5 mpg. But if i'm cruising on the highway between 65-70 mph with the adaptive cruise on I get 20+ mpg. I guess its the cost of driving a big truck with two turbos.
