Installed 2way remote start on 2011 f150 and had activated at dealer. Remote start works but car find/panic button doesn't work and fob doesn't beep.........any ideas??? Hoping it's a bad fob but not sure.

 

Try reprogramming keys mine works no issue

 

The fobs are notorious for failing on the pagebacks, another thing to keep in mind.

 

Ok. Dumb question, but is it possible the "beep" is turned off? There is a silent mode on mine. No beep and no sound at the truck either... have to look at the display to see if it's responded.

 

Many of us had to replace the battery to get the light to blink.

 

Tried fob program ( open door, press brake, key on/off 6 times ending on. Horn beeps 3 times, release brake, press button on fob. Horn should beep once when remote programmed.) it works until last step. Im not getting conf beep. Its not warr because I installed kit. I either have defective part or I'm missing something with the programming.

 

I tried silent mode on and off. Batts good. I can see green light on fob when truck starts but it's very dim ( can only see if it dark out??) And the green light flickers like a strobe light for a few seconds then nothing.( And no beep. ) Thanks for all the tips. Going to order new fob.

 

It is probably the battery!

 

Tried new fob. No different. Took remote start kit out of truck and back in box. I don't want defective parts connected to the electronics of my new truck. Prob something stupid like a bad antenna but not worth the risk.
