I had a tech come out of the Ford shop today to see what tires I had. He said they looked the best of any tire he had seen. 35K miles with lots of tread left and not yowling like BFG AT's would be by now.

My 2011 F-150 with a 2" Daystar leveling kit & 295/70R18 Nitto trail grapplers. Been on about 2 weeks, and no rubbing at all.

This is exactly the answer I was looking for. I was deciding if I got the 295/70/18's if they'd rub at all with stock wheels and a 2"level. Truck looks great and thank you for the indirect help

In some of these pics, you can clearly tell the tires are way too wide for the wheels they're mounted to, which results in premature wear in the center.

Thanks all for the compliments! I do love out trucks with these tires, I think it's the perfect look.

And yes I've talked to quite a few people saying this is the most they would ever go on the stock wheel. I never had any issues, but I saved up and just got 18x9 fuel wheels and I'm happy I did, the tires do look like they fit much better. But like I said there were no issues on the stockers for the 5k miles I had them.

Any time you wanna know if a particular tire will fit on a certain-size wheel, just go to the manufacturer's(of the tire) website, and find the 'Specs' tab. They'll give you all kinds of relative info, including the tire's ACTUAL measurements, what it weighs, rpm's per mile(which is needed if you have an SCT tuner), AND the allowable, and RECOMMENDED wheel size(s). It's important to note that when they give you the tire's actual measurements, they're doing so with it mounted on the 'Recommended' wheel (size). The measurements will change if/when you mount the tire on a different width wheel.

For those with the 5.0, how massive a drop in power was there? It likely wont stop me but I am driving myself crazy worrying about it. I do have 3.73's. I have the AS 2" front and 3" rear block in the garage waiting to be installed. My plan is the 295 70 18 Trail Grapplers on Dick Cepek Torque wheels (18 x 8.5 20mm offset). Good looking trucks fellas-

This is great news. Its still a mystery to me how some people have this same exact setup, stock 18s and same size trail graps, and some people rub and some dont. I should finally have mine this weekend so Ill be able to throw in some input. Good lookin trucks, fellas.

Looks awesome... I have my 295's and 2" level sitting in the garage but haven't had time to fool with them yet. Your pics have re-lit my fire tho.
