I don't have the Goodyear dura tracks, but I do have Goodyear silent armors in 285/60 R20.

The SA is excellent in the snow and mud and is very smooth and quiet for a load range E tire.

Are these tires decent on noise, ride quality and good in the winter? Looking to beef up the truck and I'm going to sell my Pirellis and winter setup to pay for some tires and a level. It's between these, BFG KO's and LTZ's. Which is the best? These are the best looking IMO!

checking reviews? seems like all you base your buying of tires on is looks and price. If you bought on function then you would notice that the extra money is well worth it. Surprised you sprung the extra cash for a ford and didn't buy a dodge.

AWESOME tires. They aren't loud at all for a tread like this. Just drove from Central canada to Calgary AB (1200kms) 2 days ago and loved the tires on the road. Highways up here aren't the smoothest and these tires do no affect the ride much. In the winter I LOVED the duratracs. We had snow, ice, freezing rain etc... and these tires handled it PERFECTLY. Better then my previous silent armours. I pay roughly 1400-1600 dollars for a set of these in Canada and they are worth every penny.

In response to the above I did not purchase merely based on price. I did plenty of research on several brands and models for what suits my needs. Duratracs are great tires but no sense in me paying for an "e rated" truck tire when I don't haul heavy or tow. Some do buy because certain tires "look cool" but the LTZ looks great and is an excellent performing tire for my needs.
