4th post, by ingotsilverfx4, says pretty clearly that they will not work. Expressway Ford said they were different and you would think he'd be correct, and he supplied 2 links for you to look at. On one he says "They will not work... 100% confident on this".

But he's just the parts expert for a Ford dealer, so he's probably mistaken.

Interesting to know,

Is this the same with 04-08 sensors on an 09-14 truck? I tried searching quick on google but no avail.

I do also like the new 20'' gray star rims that come on the 2015 trucks. Would look good with the sterling gray.

Yes, 04-08 has the sensor held onto the rim with a giant band, instead of in the valve stem like 09-14 and 15+
Also not compatible.

FWIW ... The band sensors were 1st used on the F-150s in 2007 (and thru 2008), and operate on a 433 MHz frequency. *The 2004-2006 F-150s did not have TPMS.

Same frequency. Different electronics.

Joe, thanks for your input on this. I was starting to get confused because some of the eBay listings show 433 MHZ for the 2015 and some also show the TPMS12 for the 2015.

So I need to find the TPMS-35 @ 315mhz?

Default TPMS on 2015

After looking up the TPMS for a 2015 I have come across two different monitors. The difference appears to be the frequency, how do you know which one of these it would be?

TPMS35 - 315 MHZ - F2GZ1A189A
TPMS36 - 433 MHZ - F2GZ1A189B

I've only ever seen TPMS35 on 2015 F150's, although in my parts listing it does show both options as available for 2015 F150. Dealer can confirm with your VIN.
