Default 2015+ LCA on a 2013?

I am aware the shock mounting changed in 2014 and stayed the same since. I have a 2013 and potentially have access to some good fox shocks that use the 2014 mounting style.

It is tough to find LCA’s specifically from a 2014 but I do see more options when 2015+ are included in my search.

I am wondering if anyone knows if the lower control arms from a 13th gen will bolt up to a 12th gen without any issues?

The balljoint on the 2015+ lower control arm is not compatible with the 2009-14 knuckle. I have yet to experiment further, but I know this because I wanted to attempt to install the 2015+ aluminum knuckles on the 12th gen truck, with my initial concern being incompatibility of the IWE. Unfortunately I didn’t even make it that far due to the unforeseen differences in ball joints between the two generations.

I’ll try a few more things in the future but for now I can say that the 2015+ lower control arms are not a direct fit on an otherwise stock 12th gen.

Thank you, that’s exactly what I needed to figure out, then I guess one would need 15+ knuckles and then who knows what else! Glad I asked! Not worth it for this guy, Thanks again

Are you not wanting an OEM/Replacement?
