2015 flow through centre console in 2011?

I'd wager it would physically fit, but nothing will match up with anything else. They changed way too much in the interior to think that things would work very well.
The 2015 ones I've seen on eBay are considerably different than the earlier flow-through console, particularly where the console would meet the dash.

Just curious if anyone has thought of this or tried it. Thought maybe the console would match up with the angle of the dash trim instead of have to change to the straight pieces to meet up with the older flow through consoles
