A 99 wrangler is FAR from driving a modern wrangler. My 99 tj was like driving a shopping cart compared to my 11 4 door JK. Have you driven a 3.8? My 3.8 with the 6 speed has more power, and gets better fuel mileage than my 99 4.0/5speed. Same size tires, same gear ratio.

A 12 and up with the new motor will flat haul butt. A 2 door will 0-60 in 6.5 seconds.

I would be interested if they truly make it into an off road beast. I've had a 2dr rubicon and it was the funnest vehicle that I've ever owned...off-road. On the road it was a bit crude, unless you like a reason to scream at people going down the road (only way they can hear you, LOL). If Ford can make a very capable off road vehicle that civilized on-road, (at a reasonable price), I think they could have a very good selling vehicle.

Just my opinion.
