I bought this F150 a few weeks ago and tried to search but didnt find anything.


1. The grill looks like it took a beating a bracket is missing from the bottom. Is this part available non OEM? Will a new aftermarket grill have that bracket? I would like a aftermarket black grill but would need the support bracket if it doesnt come with one.

2. The Sync USB plug bracket plastic tab is broken. Zip tied for now. Any way to get this back on without replacing it?

3. I have not taken the wheels off yet but I would like to have black wheels. Can the chrome hub cap skins be changed to black? Are the skins hard to remove and what is behind them? These are 18 inch and cant find any aftermarket replacements.

No, and it's not even available as an OEM separate part.

No, though can't speak to ALL aftermarket makers.

Your options are find a OEM used donor grille -OR- forget about an aftermarket black grill(e) and get an OEM used/new grille to your liking.
Probably not, unless the broken-off part is somehow still there ... then it's a job for J-B WELD. Otherwise, new/used OEM.

The center caps would not fit any black wheels you might get and they would (probably) come with their own black center caps.

Things to consider PRIOR to installing leveling spacers ....

Looks like for the grill bracket and sync panel will need to visit the boneyard.
May be able to find a stock black grill with the full bracket.

The front measures 2 inches lower than the back. I think the F150 looks good level its just my preference.
The alignment shop I use is also a suspension shop and will install the spacers and will tell me if anything is wrong
They are really good . My 81 Vette drives straight as an arrow

The tires still have some tread so will wait on the black wheels.

 

The wheels are chrome plated alloy wheels. The chrome is not a skin or hubcap. To get black wheels, you would have to buy new wheels or paint yours black.
