Default 2014 power locks failed

On my 2014 F150 XLT crew cab, my driver door and drivers side rear power door lock quit functioning via keyfob and switch. When I put the key in the door I can lock and unlock the door. I can push the **** down and pull the **** up. The rest of the doors all function properly.

Truck is passed 3/36 year warranty. Ford already told me to pound sand and lost a repeat customer. I very seriously considered putting some bad advertising for ford on my truck. Will be going elsewhere for next truck.

Any have part numbers for the power door locks. I can't seem to find the parts.

Thanks in advanced.

Lost a customer because their warranty isn't long enough? Don't think you'll find longer in any other truck. Maybe a Sonata would work.

Check the wiring in the doors. Or, the lock mechanism is called actuator, might help your search.

Why is it that every one of these posts starts with "I'm out of warranty, but I expected it to be covered anyway"?

Why do you expect Ford to cover repairs if you are out of warranty? Please don't use the line of "I paid a lot of money for it".

Using that logic, your home would never need repairs, either, etc.

I agree with Spiky, checking the wiring in the doors is a good place to start. Picking up a service manual with wiring diagrams and a volt meter would also help track down electrical issues.

They failed while under warranty. I was told they are considered a wear part. This is why they lost a customer.

I consider brakes a wear part. I consider tires a wear part. When I had to replace them I was cool.

Power door locks? Come on. That is not something that should fail before the warranty is up.
