Default 2014 oil leak

Hey all,

I noticed a few drop of oil in my garage and looked under the hood. There is most definitely evidence of an oil leak somewhere near the oil filter but due to space restrictions it's hard to get a look around. I grabbed the oil filter and it appears to be tight, but any ideas of where else to check or any common problems like this?

Have you had the oil changed recently?

I too own a 2014 and if I discovered an oil leak the first place I would check would be the hours the service department is open. For 3 years they can crawl their butts under the truck and research all they want.

I have a 14 and change my own oil. It makes a mess when you pull the filter. Probably have oil on the frame dripping down. Might pull the filter and check that owing. Just a thought.

Oil was last changed in October with full synthetic. I have an appointment Tuesday but I am just trying to gauge severity.

Hard to gauge severity when the leaks location is unknown. Could be a gasket, could be a line, who knows.

Now I am starting to wonder if it's oil.... I am not noticing a decrease in oil level and today I got a nice little 'power steering module fault' and 'service advanced trac' warning on my HUD. This was accompanied by no steering authority. A quick cycle of the key and everything is working fine but this ho is going in for MX.

What engine do you have? 3.5 and 5.0 have electronic steering.
