Default 2014 hot a/c

Hi all I have a 2014 F150 with a 5.0 and my ac stopped working. It worked ok when driving to work and then when i left i turned it on and got a weird clicking and hissing noise along with a musty smell. On top of that it only blows warm air on all settings. Any help or suggestions?

Was the hissing and musty smell in the cab from under the dash? Sounds like your evaporator sprung a leak. If its the evap, dash comes out for the replacement.

the noises definitely came from the a.c. vents as well as the smell.

Musty smell is what you get when you're "needing" and running AC, then turn it off and keep the fans going.

Which trim do you have? HVAC varies between trim levels, do you have dual zone? and/or climate control?

Ignoring the AC, can you alter the heat level of the air coming from the vents?

I can't alter the heat level. It's blowing warm air no matter what A.C. setting i put it on. It's an XL trim package and I don't have dual zone or climate control. On a side note though the heater works just fine.

You need to be more clear/specific.

I asked if you could alter the amount of heat coming out the vents, can you make it hotter. IGNORE the AC, turn it off, i don't care about the trucks ability to make cool air, it's only going to complicate diagnosing this.
