2014 front shocks
I personally spoke with Bilstein truck dept. HQ this last week, and was told they have made the 5100's a priority, prototype is done, and they will be getting these to market in the 1st qtr of 2015.
Now that I have done more research, I am leaning towards the Rancho Quick lift and the 9000xl's, since a smoother more supple ride is what I am after (I hear the Bilsteins ride stiffer), plus I can get a lift at the same time with a ride adjustable shock (I am aware the Bilstein is too, to some extent).
Rancho has announced on their site that 4" and 6" lift kits will be out in early 2015 too, for the 2015 F150 http://www.gorancho.com/press-releas...n-systems.html
Does this mean Rancho will have a 2'-3" Quick Lift with the 9000XL's for a 2015 F150? Heck, I do not know, but would love to find out! Anyone from Rancho out there who can fill us in?

"Thank you, your search will affect future product development at BILSTEIN.
Unfortunately, at this time we do not make any products for this vehicle."
I've been concerned that as one forum member predicted, Bilstein would simply skip the 2014 F150 application with consideration that 2015+ models will require yet a different config.
Although I've used Rancho 9000 on my jeep (currently Bilstein 5100), my own thinking is that Bilstein products are manufactured to higher quality standards and thus maintain design specs while lasting longer than alternative name (and private labelled) products. For my truck with no lift or level planned, I'm hoping for release of 4600 (yellow) application which I'll immediately purchase. My former Nissan Frontier Nismo (Pro4X) was factory equipped with 4600 and still going strong functioning apparently as-new at 73k miles when sold a few months ago. Um, I won't be reaching for my own wallet for any other product - unless Bilstein fails to release products for the 2014 F150 application...

You should do a search on here for some of the problems with the different "name brand" shocks and coilovers. There's one that was breaking the bottom mount. I wish I could find the thread again, but it's a possibility with mild offroading. IIRC one of the persons were on the beach when one broke. It's something Alex at F150lifts was trying to overcome when they built their set. People have been running them in "not so nice" conditions with no ill effects. I realize that they are not a name brand.......yet, but I imagine they will be in a few years after they get out on the market some more. Plus they already have a 2014 ready coilover.
It was the bottoms coming apart. I remember that much. But it's like the Eco. There's a crap load of those shocks out there so there are a few bound to have some problems. Just the name of the game.
I would not hold your breath waiting for Bilstein 5100's for the 2014. They went on an 8 month back order earlier this year for the 09-13 shocks and now the 04-08 are back ordered. We are approaching 2015 and Bilstein never even made a 2014. We do not foresee Ford changing the 2014 lower control arm mount in the 2015....so if Bilstein makes a 2014, it would also fit the 2015. If they make it, we will carry it, as we think the 5100 is a good product...However our Boss shocks have everything a 5100 has and more. More travel, larger main shaft, better weld, Heim lower mount, threaded shock body (fronts). We thoroughly tested the Boss shocks in the factory, running them through the multi year simulator. Then road testing them. Thanks to all of you for your support and kind words.
